Happy Birthday!!

Ever had your bank account hacked into? Well, Mark and I can check that off our list! This happened a few Thursdays ago and it took me about a week to get over. I felt so...uneasy, as though I/we were being watched. Someone ( I do know his name) managed to access our online banking and get himself $2000. Thankfully the bank called about the large amount and didn't put it through since we didn't know what it was about. I had to go to the bank that afternoon (with both boys, alone) and open a new account. We had to get new everything, redo our direct deposits, and everything else we have withdrawn from our account each month. Just nerve wracking how someone can do that! So, point of the story, change your passwords often and make sure you have good protection on your computer. I am now the owner of my own debit card and everything has been fixed!!

I apologize for not posting in a while. We have been busy having fun and celebrating our birthdays! a good excuse, huh?! Mom made a surprise visit up last Sunday (well I knew 2 days in advance) and we made the most of her time here last week. She got to see the boys at their music class last Monday and was here for my birthday! That alone was pretty special. The boys gave me a new purse, expensive I might add...not sure I am deserving and even know how to carry it! I'm used to Target specials. :) The boys and I went to school as usual Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesday, Mark was post call so Mom and I got to shop around at a few stores that little boys are NOT allowed in!!! Then Mark and I had a nice "grown-up" dinner with no interruptions. Come Thursday, I was already getting that sick feeling knowing Mom would be leaving soon. When I'm not around family, I'm fine...but when I get to enjoy them, I want them all the time! Guess that is with anything in life and is why we enjoy today, today!

Friday morning, I had the boys a friend birthday party. When we have the one at home, it will be more or less family. So, I wanted them to be able to celebrate with what they consider their friends. It was an Elmo themed party. Anderson loves him some "Melmo!" It basically was a playdate here at our house that was sugar-coated with goodies! It was simple. fun. dirty. tiring!

What can Anderson do at 2?
He sleeps with his brother in a big boy bed.
He can run, jump and gallop.
He sings.
He loves food, but mostly sweets, pickles, and fruit.
He brushes his teeth all by himself.
He says "I love you."
He is learning colors...everything is blue right now.
He can count to 3.
He tries to sing the A,B,C's with his brother.
He loves his blankie and bun, bun.
He loves to play outside.
He is lovable and not so lovable at the same time!
He loves his Mommy, Daddy, and Bently.
He loves to wrestle with his Daddy and Bently.

Thinking about all of that makes me want to brag on my boys. They are mine, so I guess I can! They are precious and very special to me. I pray daily for their health because I know any day they could wake up and be sick. I don't know how long I will have them, so I choose to pray for them and thank the Lord daily for their blessing to me. But rest assured, I pray for all of you TOO!! We wouldn't be where we are today with out the friends and family that we have. Thank you for loving us and believing in our dreams.

These are from the farm a few weeks ago.

It's October!!!

It's October!!! I can hardly believe how fast the time is passing by. It makes me so happy, but at the same time, I wouldn't mind if it slowed down! This month is jammed pack with fun things for us to do and several birthdays as well. We had fun at one birthday celebration today and have another next Saturday plus my two this month! I know I have said before, but I am having such a hard time knowing that mine are turning 2 and 3 in a matter of weeks. I think back to just 3 short years ago when I was preparing to be a "Momma" and now I am a "Momma" to 2!!! Just like that...what a blessing and I so often feel so underserving for the life that I have, for their health, their happiness, and LOVE! I am so thankful...so happy...so humbled.

Only 18 more days until we get to see familiar faces of family and friends again! The boys will be so   happy to squeeze you all and I'm sure you the same. I can't imagine how fast the week will pass and how hard it will be to see everyone we would like to see, but we will do our best. Who knows when we will be back?!

Little Anderson is still holding strong with no paci and is talking SO much more. It is rather difficult to make out what he is saying, but easier for me than Mark since he isn't home as much during the day. It's really cute though or to me, at least! Everything is milk (even if it is water), booo-yahhh is a favorite phrase, working on colors, and aggravating his brother is a hobby!

Mark is doing well. Still loves his job. All of the CA-1's had dinner together Saturday night. It's nice to know that they all don't mind being together even while off. Not many have kids, so ours get spoiled by the female residents! They shared with me that night that Mark was the "HEAD CA-1!" Nope, it was not voted on, he just appointed himself that position and therefore, refers to himself as that, often!! Only Mark....

In regards to my previous post, my friend did lose her baby, but is doing well. I'm thankful God put us together this year, so that each of us would have someone to lean on in times like these. None of her family knew/know so she didn't have them.

The weather finally cooled off today. Bently has been waiting on it so that he could wear his boots and jeans! We are enjoying it, but they aren't used to it. We had to come back from a walk this morning because they were too cold. It's been a good past week and hopefully things will stay bright. I'll share a few pictures from the weekend soon.

Sweet boy loves reading his Bible now days.

Grabbed a picture at school of him digging in a pumpkin!

Our garden that is finally flourishing. The peppers added to a tasty batch of guacamole this week!

This is how I found them one night this week. I am thinking this must be what life is like at the camp...with guys!

We got BOOOOO'D for Halloween and he was pretty excited about the treats that were left!

We took Wednesday morning and had donuts with Daddy before he had to be at work. Both boys at the whole thing and wanted more, but the answer was NO. Enough sugar for this mom to handle in one day. ;)

Such a poser...he wanted me to take this picture!

They got mail Thursday and these fun Halloween cups filled with candy corn were in there!

Thanks again, we love them!

Some of the pumpkins they painted the other day.

Love and hugs to you all!

Prayers Please

Anyone that knows me already knows that I am a believer in prayer. I have a sweet friend that I have met here that needs your prayers today. She has 2 little boys that are great friends with my two!  Anyway, she has undergone three rounds of IVF lately and feels as though she is losing this baby today. So sad to see anyone, but especially a dear friend sad and upset. I just feel helpless, but know that prayer is all I have to offer. It hits home close to me because I know one day Mark and I will be in these shoes as we expand our family. It worries me that I may have these same issues, or if I was to get pregnant having to face her. Tough days are ahead for her either way God decides to handle this situation, so please keep her and her husband in your prayers.

On a happier note, I started my new job today!! No, I wasn't planning on going back to work so soon, but the boys school had an opening and I took it. I'll have a class of 2 year olds and it brought back lots of fun memories. I worked on bulletin boards today and cleaning. The little ones come Tuesday. In being there with the boys, I was able to see Anderson work his moves at music and Bently dig into a pumpkin!

And for those wondering, we are having a better week. I have been blessed with more patience, so I know someone is praying for me somewhere. Life is hard, precious, short, and filled with so many blessings!

Love to all!
