Finally some nice weather...

Last week was not my funnest week ever. Mark was on night float and I despise nights. Call, ok, nights, not so much. Glad it's over. I had a busy week with cooking club and making meals for a few families with sick ones or new ones. On top of that, school is busy right now with grandparents day coming up this Friday. Sometimes I believe they would rather us do cute things and perform rather than teach. Guess that is my rant...I'm used to teaching and fitting that in if their is time. Not just the opposite. I'm glad it's just pre-k!

This weekend's weather was perfect! Both days were beautiful and warm by mid-afternoon. The boys played outside both days just about all day. We were in bed by 7:30 each night! Saturday afternoon we had friends over and grilled. It seemed like it had been forever since we had done anything like that. Sunday we went to church and then hosted the Auxiliary Valentine Party here. The kids painted canvases and had a few sweet snacks. I think fun was had by all!

We are counting down the days until my mom, sister, and niece get here Wednesday. The boys are so excited and keep asking when?! It's only 2 days now! We only have 12 days until Mark's ITE which means all of this studying will be over for a bit. Please pray that he will do well and all of the studying will pay off for him. And that means only 13 days left until we leave for our cruise. We got our luggage tags and the final info in the mail Friday. The boys looked through the book and talked about all they are going to do and what beach they are going too and such! They are as ready as I am. I hope they enjoy it and will remember it as they get older.

As far as little Benjamin that some of you have been praying for, he had heart surgery last week and is recovering nicely from that. His lungs aren't very strong at all right now, so he is currently on steroids to help with that. He is one strong little boy and has wonderful parents. I know they are so tired physically and emotionally, but wouldn't trade the moments they get to be there for anything. God is Good and is hearing each prayer said for this baby.

Happy Valentine's Week to all of our family and friends...we love you!
